Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 · Last Updated: October 16, 2026

Summary in Plain English: Many ProfitTool tools process data in your browser, while network lookups, temporary services, and AI tools send the information needed for a request to external providers or our server. Check the notice on each tool before submitting sensitive information. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of ProfitTool ("we", "our", or "the Platform") regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you access and use our website and tools library. We are committed to protecting your online privacy.

2. Local Processing and External Requests

Many ProfitTool utilities, including image editing, calculators, and text formatting, perform their main computation in your browser. Network, temporary email, and AI tools make external requests when you use them. Each tool's notice describes the provider and the input sent where applicable.

Do not assume every input stays on your device. For example, network checkers send the queried domain or URL to their lookup provider, temporary email uses external mail services, and AI prompts are sent to our server and Groq. Check the notice on the tool before submitting confidential material.

3. Information We Collect Automatically

When you browse ProfitTool, our web servers and first-party telemetry may collect non-personally identifiable technical logs, including:

  • Browser type, version, and operating system platform.
  • Date, time, and duration of page views.
  • Referring URLs and exit pages.
  • Aggregated diagnostic performance metrics (e.g., page load latencies).

4. Cookies and Web Beacons

Cookies are small data files placed on your device. We use cookies strictly for:

  • Essential Functional Cookies: Remembering user UI preferences such as Dark/Light theme mode and tool favorite bookmarks.
  • Aggregated Analytics: Understanding high-level page popularity to prioritize new tool developments.
  • Advertising Cookies: Displaying contextual and interest-based advertisements via certified networks.

5. Third-Party Advertising & Google AdSense

We partner with third-party vendors, including Google LLC, to serve ads when you visit our website. Google uses cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites on the internet.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.

6. AI Tools & Cloud Inference Processing (Groq LPU)

ProfitTool hosts 50 specialized generative AI tools powered by ultra-low-latency LPU (Language Processing Unit) inference provided by Groq Inc. When you submit a prompt to an AI tool:

  • Secure Server-Side Mediation: Prompt requests are sent over encrypted HTTPS to our backend server, which sanitizes inputs and calls the Groq inference API. API keys and service secrets remain strictly server-side and are never exposed to browser clients.
  • Request metadata: Prompts are forwarded from our server to Groq for inference. As with any network request, service providers may process connection and request metadata under their own terms; do not submit confidential information.
  • Provider retention: We do not make a zero-retention or no-training guarantee here. Review Groq's current privacy and service terms before submitting information that must remain confidential.
  • Application storage: AI prompts are processed to generate a response. Avoid entering personal, financial, or confidential material.

7. Temporary Communication Tools (Temp Mail & Temp SMS)

Our Temp Mail and Temp SMS utilities provide disposable inboxes for spam prevention. Incoming messages to temporary email addresses and public phone numbers are publicly accessible and ephemeral. Do not transmit passwords, financial records, or confidential data through disposable communication addresses.

8. Your Rights Under GDPR (European Economic Area)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have data protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including:

  • The right to access, update or delete any personal data we hold.
  • The right to object to or restrict our processing of your data.
  • The right to data portability.
  • The right to withdraw consent at any time.

9. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Disclosures

Under the CCPA, California consumers have the right to request disclosure of categories of personal information collected, request deletion, and opt-out of the sale of personal information. ProfitTool does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to data brokers.
